This was my very first mix from a while back. It's a short instrumental concept song before I started getting better. Not sure if I want to take the time to fix it up, extend it, and add vocals. The "bass" was my acoustic eq'd down...sounded awful, but it's just a concept idea.
The tune is cool, if I image a whole lot I can see it being something funky. But as it stands, it needs completely remaking. All of it sounds nasty on an ear candy level. Those drums are playing a cool pattern, but the sound is so fake. The guitar is right in my face with its limpness.
The bass is mellow and rockin' but all the flavour and character have been annihilated by the EQ.
There is no soul in it, it's been sucked dry by a digital demon.
