Hello,
for some reason i'm unable to hear my self through the headset as i record anything through the mic. it use to work fine no problem. seems like someone messed with the settings. i did a bunch of trial n errors, nothing seems to work. i record fine, everything is fine but i just cant hear my self while recording. it is very annoying especially if im doing sound check. thank you in advance.
i'm using m audio fast track pro as an audio interface
i'm using a presonus eureka preamp
i'm using sony vegas pro 8.0
i'm using a mono mic made by akg.
i'm using windows xp sp3 fully reformatted
does anyone have a clue on how to resolve this issue? thank you much. |

I will assume you have the headphones plugged into the M-Audio?
And, I will definitely assume the headphone volume knob is turned up?
My guess is that you need to open up your M-Audio control panel (or Monitor Mixer app, I think), and possibly correct the monitor routing?
Fiddle around in there a while. If you can't figure it out in an hour or two, read the manual .
If you STILL can't figure it out, report back with what you tried?
