Hey Guys.....
Here's a new tune called "HOLDIN' ON"..............
Steve Altonian
www.soundclick.com/stevealtonian
“HOLDIN’ ON”
It’s early in the morning
Another day, another restless night
I sip my cup of coffee
It’s okay, it’s gonna be alright
Sometimes times can get hard
Little things will drive you up a wall
I’m walking on a tightrope
And it’s a long, long way to fall
It’s spiritual suicide
For you to worry through the night
(CHORUS):
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” forever
Hangin’ here on a wing and a prayer
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” whenever
It seems nobody cares
I really need to remember
Where I’m from and how far I’ve come
I fought my share of battles
Some I’ve lost, some I’ve won
This world can be so cold
A bitter pill you try to swallow whole
I act like it doesn’t affect me
But you know, sometimes it slows my roll
Some things will never change
I’ll just ride this tidal wave
(CHORUS):
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” forever
Hangin’ here on a wing and a prayer
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” whenever
It seems nobody cares
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” forever
Hangin’ here at the foot of the cross
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” whenever
It seems all hope is lost
(Musical Bridge)
(CHORUS):
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” forever
Hangin’ here on a wing and a prayer
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” whenever
It seems nobody cares
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” forever
Hangin’ here at the foot of the cross
I keep “HOLDIN’ ON” whenever
It seems all hope is lost

Steve that was absolutely first-rate! It's such a pleasure to hear something as artfully accomplished as this. Yes, we'd all like to know more. You are obviously enlightened in more ways than one. This was sweet. All of your work is. Your music has spoken to me and I am speechless. Hard to believe isn't it?
Enjoying the glow

That was awsome, I expect to see it in some montage within a prime time tv show. |

Speechless ????????? As for the tune.....I kinda got some real awful news at one of the worst times of my life.........Worried all night about the situation....Got up the next morning heard a rythym & stuffed toilet paper in my ears to not lose it....Wrote the words over the next two days....
I was so NOT in control of my situation I had to just "HOLD ON"
See ya & thanks for the listen

Great songs along with great comedy frequently come from the dark side of our lives. Glad to hear things went so badly to produce such a wonderful amount of songs. Keep feeling lousy! Why not become an alcoholic while you're at it?? Worked fine for Jim Morrison.....
Misery loves company but not a lush

Hey Guys....
I'm gonna add 1 more instrument probably 1/2 way through the 1st verse to the end of the tune......
At first it was gonna be possibly electric guitar.....
Now I was kinda thinking about "steel guitar".....Anyone have any thoughts on this ????
