I would stick with the rectangular room, easier to build and predict. Your space is too small for such "crazy" studio designs. You might however use a splayed ceiling if you want.
Or just turn the entire place into a large control/tracking room. Sometimes it is better to have one decent room than two not-so decent ones ! |

What would be the advantage of a splayed ceiling if the room is too small for crazy? |

To redirect reflections away from the listener's position. The splayed walls has the same purpose but then it makes the prediction of low frequency behavior even more difficult, and in such room you always have room mode problems, due to its size.
My opinion (which my differ from others in the forum) is that small rooms are should be left as rectangular. Room with "weird" shapes have to be large than a typical bedroom to work.
Other problem is that, as far as I understood from the picture, the solution proposed is not considering to soffit mount the speakers which is another reason to stay in a rectangular room.
I prefer to keep it simple and I would go for a single large room. |

One room is better with these short measurements and rectangular is always a great starting place. Me personally, I wouldn't splay any of the physical structure.
I too, like simple |

My problem is that the room I not rectangular. I have that strange angle on the corner. It ould be much more easier to make something symmetrical if that corner was 90º. With that corner it is more difficult to have a layout that keeps symetricity and leaves room's proportions as they are. What do you think about that?

If symmetry is of concern build a small wall in the north east corner to match the south east corner. (Cover the window) Put your speakers near the west wall, and your listening position 38% from the west wall. |
