Hello. My name is joseph st.esprit, you killed my father...prepare to die (naw just kidding). Some people call me Evil or Evil Olive. This is one of my first ever serious recordings...the song is called 'Snakes and Ladders'.
I wrote it in the aftermath of Sept 11th 2001 tragedies. I feel a little differently about it now.
Anyway, it showcases alternating time signatures, ambiguous keys cryptic lyrics and chordal modulations blah blah blah.
Lemme know what you think. I have more mp3s and videos at my website:

I FING LOVE THIS SITE...just found it five mins ago! |

Cool, the way you had me tripping in the first few lines of your post then after I found the track and listened to a bit I'm tripping hoping it wasn't full of mind control subliminal things. I had to turn it off and get the lighting nice and relaxing and calm down.
I'm sure it's just me.
Still, jolly good show |

Cool song. Plenty of creativity and originality to both the song and the recording.
Might be weak ears after recording all day with a friend and mixing since, but some of the highs get piercing. Good clarity to the vocals, though.
Really enjoyed it, though. |

Cool vibey stuff. Yeah everything is great but the High end is piercing...I think because the drums are up front. Not bad or good just the way you wanted to hear your songs.
Sweet stuff. |

Yea yea, it sounds real good, mostly, but that melody guitar part that seems to haunt each song, I'd choke that...'course, I'd choke that drummer too, but that's just the way I roll.
I can still roll, it just looks like shuffling...and get a haircut... |

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG!! Amazing.
And the song isn't half bad either. Quality sounds good to me! I'm showing some heavy 1 to 4k on my spec analyzer during the vocal... that may be what the others are talking about. Sounds fine on my setup though. I love the lyrics. Good job! |
