That is spooky!
I keep expecting to hear the squeak and rumble of the gramophone spooling...
There's a touch of noise in there, sounds like AM radio compression taken a little to far... I am guessing though, maybe it's what is making this feel so old timey. Those little clicks and pops add to the feel.
