Hey, I'm looking for any kind of feedback (mix and/or songwriting).
Vocals are a rough take.
Song Title: "Only Way Out"
Would appreciate it if you gave it a listen:

The drums seem a light bit muffled, which is sad 'cause there's a ring on that snare that might sound nice if it were opened up.
Go back and do those vocals. And relax, while your doing it.
Overall, sounds promising. |

Thanks Genereaux. Yeah I just recently learned that a little bit of ring ain't such a bad thing when recording. If the snare is too muffled it tends to sound thin in the mix. I'll try and work on that a little.
Any other thoughts? |

Hey man, nice tune. Piano sounds pretty nice, and and the instruments are mixed pretty well for a rough mix.
I suggest taking your time with the lead vocals and making them really musical in the mix. They seem disjointed now. The harmonies are good though, for what it's worth.
Good start. And that's just my opinion. |
