I need some opinions on surround sound monitor systems. I am more interested in soundualitythan a million features built in a box.
Has anybpdy listened to any of the various boxes side by side? I have heard that, allthough the multimax has a ton of features, it's not the best sounding unit out there.

Well, I did my own test between the Adgil and the Multimax, and must say I'm extremely glad I decided on the Adgil.
The Multimax definitely does something to the sound. And it's not a good thing. The depth and definition of the sound is changed.
An article I read hit the nail on the head. When listening to the Adgil, it sounds like a blanket has been removed from the speakers. |

| We are working on Multimax and are very happy with it.
I must say, we only use them for monitoring purposes.
All final signal routings are digital.
AS for sound quality, I can not judge since our 5.1 room is so different in monitoring compared to the other studio's.
(LSR 32's in the 5.1 and HD1's in the other rooms)
Personaly I like the functionality of the Multimax.
