Need Help With ASF Files!!

Hi all,

Does anyone, know of a good video editing program that you can import and edit ASF files (and export back to ASF)?

I tried to find an ASF to AVI converter so I could import it into my video editor program, because ASF files don't work in regular editing programs (I've tried Adobe Premiere, Vegas Video, and Magix Video Delux) and none of them would work with it. I've heard that Microsoft is very strick about not letting programs convert ASF to anything else, and I haven't been able to find one that actually works yet... I've tried Virtual Dub 1.3c (which IS supposed to convert ASF files, but for some reason it didn't Sad

) and ASF Tools. So I'm giving up on this aspect because nothing seems to work...

I'd really like to find an eding program so I could just edit the ASF files directly, but I haven't been able to find one, so if anyone can help me out, it'd be really appreciated!! :c:

From what I know it's a one-way trip.

.asf is the final product of Microsoft Producer.

You can import different, media types to create an .asf
You can dowload producer from Microsoft.
