Hey guys, I'm looking for a place to upload mp3s... I tried Geocities but they erased all my files and closed my account ! My server (AT&T Broadband) for some reason, when I upload the mp3, and try to download it with my browser (MSIE OSX), it comes out as a ASCII file  ! Well, can someone point a free server?? Thanx!!! |

call this a band wagon post. I've been able to post on acidplanet.com cause i record with thier software but, I don't like the secular nature. Does mp3.com charge to post. Are you basically screwed as to format and potential downloader registration nags if you don't have your own site/page? |

I think you cannot use mp3.com just for hosting your files, you gotta have a webpage. The problem is, I don't want to put our music OUT on mp3.com yet, I just need a place to upload the songs while I'm mixing them, so my bandmates can hear and comment the mixing... instead of wasting tons of CDRs... but thanks for the reply! |

That works great!
The briefcase allows up to 30 megs of storage and you can upload files up to 5 megs (perfect for MP3's) to their storage facility.
Anyone else have some good sites, please post them!
Thank you! |
