Hey guys,
This is a song that I recorded and mixed on an analog borad (I guess it's a Soundcraft 6000 or something like this).
Can you guys comment that? Not the music only the recording. |

Hi
I'm not a pro
But here are my comments
Intro has quite some noise.
Left channel louder then right (wavelab says it's 2 dB (RMS) louder
Overall I think there's too much compression/limitting:
wavelab says the leftchannel has an an RMS of -10 dB! (right -12 dB))
One thing that's quite unusual is that the basskick seems to be slightly to the right
I would make the synth a bit louder (and constant right), center the snare and kick (maybe a bit louder kick), is there also a lead-guitar? (or is this the synth again) I would push it louder right. Hihats slightly less volume and a bit less to the left.
That's it.
Don't take this too serious, it would only make it more like my stuff sounding
It's just I like very honest comments, so I try to do the same.
Cheers |
