I am interested in getting some feedback about this song. This is the first version of it. I would also like some suggestions about what needs to be done for a better mix.

I listened to the track and I have a couple suggestions. The phasey guitar in the intro is a little much. You might want to decrease the amount of effect a little. Not take it away completely if that is the sound you want, just tone it down a little. I like the bass guitar, it has some cool runs and fills. You might want to compress the vocals a little. In some parts, it is kinda hard to hear, in others they kid of jump out. Other than that, I thought the song was pretty good, not really my style of music but a good song. Tell us more about your setup/gear.

Ian,
Thanks for the listen and suggestions.
I took your advice and toook most of the phaser off the mix on the guitar and compressed the vocals as you also mentioned. It is difficult to not hear the words when you know what is being sung.
As far as my equipment;
I am using a Takamine EG series guitar ran directly through a Mackie 1402 VLG mixer.
My bass guitar is an old Univox. also ran directly into the mixer.
The microphone is a Shure SM-58
and the sound card is a Delta - 66
I am using N-Trac for my recording software.
I run this on a Pentium III 600meg Dell
Thanks again for the advice.
