Are we talkin how long it will take to SAVE the finished wave file.
it so..What an irrelevant test if ever there was one.
Results could depend on so much HDD stuff too.
to test fairly you should stipulate saving to partituion at front[outside] of HDD that is low level formatted with nothing in it. !!!!

No, it's not the speed at which it saves. It's the speed at which it mixes down the silence you've recorded. After you record the silence, export it to a wave file. How long does this process take. That is the test in question. HTH |
