Hi all,
I need to move my current control room to the basement. Unfortunately, the ceiling is only 6' high. I was wondering if anyone has worked in control rooms with such a low ceiling with success ( besides the obvious comfy factor ).
I realize i would need to dig in order to built a proper control room but that would set me back at least 20K. Any suggestion/advice ?? thanks |

Yeah, that's tough. But it can work. All small rooms have problems, so you just add treatment to solve them.
What is the ceiling made of? If you have joists that are 6 feet high but have an air gap to the floor above, you can add treatment in the gap. If it's a sheetrock ceiling you'll probably want to remove it and start again.
