Is a 6' ceiling control room workable ??

Hi all,

I need to move my current control room to the basement. Unfortunately, the ceiling is only 6' high. I was wondering if anyone has worked in control rooms with such a low ceiling with success ( besides the obvious comfy factor ).
I realize i would need to dig in order to built a proper control room but that would set me back at least 20K. Any suggestion/advice ?? thanks

Yeah, that's tough. But it can work. All small rooms have problems, so you just add treatment to solve them.

What is the ceiling made of? If you have joists that are 6 feet high but have an air gap to the floor above, you can add treatment in the gap. If it's a sheetrock ceiling you'll probably want to remove it and start again.
