Just wanted to clarify something about the bass traps you recommend. Is it not recommended to put any mid/high foam absorption on the face of the bass traps because of changes in resonance? Or did I misread that?

I don't see a problem of coming up with a way to mount mid/high absorption off the face a few inches.
Maybe an inner frame for the bass trap and an outer frame standing the mid/high off the resonant surface.
