Hello chaps:
I have been watching this discussion with duct tape over my mouth. First, I just wanted to praise all of you...Ok, Ethan and Kurt,...for keeping it unpersonal and professional. I have 2 friends who lurk around RO.org and they have both commented about this discussion thread.
Second- my brain is leaking out of my head from all the info. Keep it coming. Its a nerdtopia in here Very Happy

Thanks! It's been easy. Ethan is a very knowledgeable and civil fellow. I have a lot of respect for him and his designs. While we may disagree on a few of the finer points there has been no reason to be upset. I may have had Ethan breathing a few deep sighs through the whole ordeal, Very Happy

but he has been very helpful in imparting his expertise. I’m just trying to figure this whole acoustics thing out so I can have a better understanding of it. Talk about your "black arts"...the subject of acoustics is a deeply contested issue. I thank Ethan for his patience with me and some of my stupid questions and erroneous concepts. ...... Kurt

Cool, I'll do that.. PM is a very good tool for Mods here to use to communicate with each other.. . There is a Buddy List and Ignore function... so if you're being pestered by someone you can turn them off. It would be nice if you could enable your PM... Kurt

I despise all forms of instant messaging. One huge benefit of email is I can read and answer when it's convenient for me.
