I am constructing some bass traps and was wondering if I could use 1/8 ply wood for the back.
I'm in a good sized bed room right now and I can't mess with the walls to much.
I plan on hanging them and wanted to cut down on weight.
Thanks! |

The consensus seems to be that you shoud back them with 3/4" plywood. |

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to use a bigger hook. |

You know, it wouldn't take *that* much work to just build the frame up against the existing wall, and use little L brackets inside, then caulk. Sure, you'll have to peel off the caulk, and fill the holes, if you take them down, but that's what, an hour or two total? |
