SAWStudio - ex very long time Cubase user has now seen the light.
The difference in sound quality alone is night and day.

Strange that you omitted from the list the most used one: Logic |

The poll count stands at:

(6. users of) Logic on a Mac,
(5. users of) Samplitude on a PC,
(4. users of) Cool Edit
(4. users of) Nuendo / Cubase on Mac
(4. users of) Vegas on a PC,
(3. users of) SONAR on a PC,
(2. users of) Logic on a PC,
(2. users of) Sequoia on a PC,
(1. user of) Cakewalk Home Studio on a PC,
(1. user of) Digital Performer on a PC,
(1. user of) SADiE 24/96 a PC,
(1. user of) SAWStudio on a PC,
(1. user of) Soundscape SSHDR1,
93 countable votes total out of 106 responses.
Some did not specify platform and /or were part of a listed group, causing faults in the count IMO. Tally your own counts. I would be curious as to what you would come up with. |

I use cubase sx on a pc.
I think it's a sweet sweet system.
Have heard good things about digital performer, but have put an serious amount of ours int cubase, so i'm not going with another sequencer as long as I don't run into any limitations.

Well I am a newbie and very inexperienced, but this is what I do:
- Build song in FL Studio
- Export wav file to N-Track and record vocals and what ever else
- IF N-Track crashes, I use Cool Edit Pro (prefer N-track for tracking but has been buggy of late)
- TRY to master in cool edit. (Usually this is just a fun exercise I do to try and get the final stereo track sounding good on my home stereo)
So FL-Studio to N-Track to Cool Edit all on PC
