In the meantime, anybody looking for a great compressor can head over to www.sonalksis.com and download the 30-day trial version of the SV-315. It's very tasty, as is their eq, but not cheap. (Cheapskate tip: install the VST version first, then after a month the DX version, that way you can test it for 60 days!)

Can't you just download it again?

Hi,

it seems that my plugins are not here, so now they are Wink

AcousModules is a series of VST(i) multichannel plugins for spatialization (surround up to 24 channels), parallel FX, instruments, MIDI processors etc.
PC only.

Cheers,

WOW! Shocked Welcome to Recording.org Jean-Marc! I'm sure you'll like it here and I hope you stick around. My studio was juist taken out by bad weather, but as soon aas it's back up, i'll give your plugs a test and add them to the links collection. Thanks so much for contributing!

Not sure if these were mentioned or not:

There are about 10 free plug-ins from the highly regarded Voxengo, at
http://www.voxengo.com/downloads

The LFX-1310 from Lumonix is a VST multi-effector including 24 types of algorithm and 3 serial slots.

MWA,

All the vst plugins are usable in Protools if you use the vst 2 rtas wrapper from fxpansion.

It's well worth the $$.

I recommend sweetwater.com

I am new to the site and just wanted to say thanks for all the cool links! I will be cruising the net this week & I will try to find something new and worth listing here. I will try out some of the recommended plugins first, especially the compressor mentioned by Captain Mark (the VS-315).
I am using VST/32 & hope to get some mileage out of it with the help of cheap or free plugins out there. I guess this software is considered ancient these days.

Anyway - thanks again.

Hi, I'm new. Maybe this is a dumb question, but, there are some pretty good links posted here, really great, I was wondering, most of the plug ins are certain effects and then I found drumloops and drumsounds (in .wav), but does a plug in version exist of, say, a soundmodule like the Roland JV-series?
Or the ability to import or something, so you can use the sounds of a Roland JV, without actually bying one? Do you know what I mean? I don't always know if I'm getting my point across for English is not my native tongue. Wink

There are plugins like the ones you speak of, but none I know of for free. The Roalnd JV is a sample playback based sound module. It has not been made into a plugin version, but Steinberg makes a product called Hypersonic that is similar.

Thanks David

After some time surfing, I found two sites, maybe someone can use them:

http://moritz-sounds.de.vu

www.e-phonic.com/vstplugins

Maybe they've been mentioned before by someone, then forgive me, if not, enjoy! Cool

Thanks for the E-Phonic links. I'll be adding two of their plugs to the list. As for the rest, they are instruments, and my thread is for effects only. Thanks again.
