So i've finished my mix and am ready to submit my work to a mastering house to be mastered. What's the best format to send to the mastering house:
1. Broadcast wave 32bit, 96KHz? |

I think it's best to talk to the mastering house about what they prefer.
What format was it mixed in? 32bit 96K? |

Alrighty Then!!
If the ME can accept 32/96 then i think this will be a good format to deliver. |

Yes - if the mix is 96/32 then send the ME the same. I get most of my projects as .wav or .aif files on data CD at whatever format the project was done in. |

The Best format is the one that the ME says they can support. 32bit is a little odd if you're looking for universal acceptance. 24/96 would be ideal for most houses. 24/44.1 anyone should be able to accept. You can archive in whatever format you want, but you should deliver in the format that your ME can use. |
