Wow!
What a great collection of links!!!
Here's another one to a very nice reverb for free called Glaceverb.
I don't think it's been covered before, but if it has.... here we go again:

I can't live without Inspector from http://www.elementalaudio.com. It's a spectral analysis and metering tool. Their pay plug-ins are pretty cool, too (I own the Eqium EQ). |

sorry, guys if this one has been posted already, but with the amazing amounts of very usefull (indeed!!) links posted you can get easily lost however, here is a killer synth, it's sound is just incredible and hard to be believed a plug... very heavy on the CPU, though, but very, very nice and tweakable into nearly any direction...
CRYSTAL it's free from http://www.greenoak.com |

There are some exciting new plugs at TbT Audio: The TLs Pocket Limter and the TLs Saturated Driver. They are available at http://tbtserver.no-ip.info/
The old plugins, including the rather wonderful TLs Maximizer (new version due soon) and TubeLimit are available from the ftp server at ftp://tbtserver.no-ip.info/ - login as "anonymous".
My compliments,
TheCaptain.
***EDIT*** I almost forgot. Magnus of SmartElectronix has produced a rather wonderful freeware EQ, available for Windows AND Mac OSX! He also has a number of other interesting creations at http://magnus.smartelectronix.com but the "Nyquist EQ" is really amazing! |

No free VST/RTAS wrapper as far as I know. Beyond that, I have heard some bad things about the one from FXpansion (sp?). Heard that it bogs down and does not work quickly or accurately enough.
So, with the prevalence of Pro Tools, it really surprises me that there are virtually ZERO free RTAS plugs. I have the 3 from Nomad already. I can't find anything else. |
