I wanted to know what wah wah pedal is everybodies favorite? I have a Morley that I use on bass. But I will need to get one or two for the guitar and studio use. I also have read that using them on keyboards is nice at times.-- I want to try that
So please tell me, which to concider.
At the moment I'm thinking about maybe buying a Budda and something else.

For my money the best Wah on the planet is the Vox V848 Clyde McCoy (usually just called a Clyde). It's the smoothest, sweetest sounding Wah I've ever used. Hendrix, Trower, SRV, KWS along with a boatload of others have used them exclusively.

Go to a music store where you can A/B it alongside some other of your choices. I'll bet you go home with the Vox.

While you're at it pick up a Univibe for the coolest Leslie and chorus sounds you've ever heard along with some funky vibrato sounds.

Have fun shopping Luke, uh Stu, uh hows about we call you Stuke Laughing

I've got a VOX and it is the bomb. Incredibly solid... you could gig from now until eternity and still club a mule to death with it (if needed!).

Awsome tone.

... one other feature that's supercool is the first word in the leaflet - "Congratulations". That's how special you feel when you take it home.

One more for the Vox. I've had mine for about 7 years (it's not the Clyde model). I have had flawless performance. I love the sound.

I have a Morley that was given to me by a friend. It does the honkin mids through a cranked amp thang really well.

Another good friend said he has a VOX for me, if I want it. Can't wait to try that one.

Hey BIG D, any particular univibe I should get? I did a search and there's was some different ones to look at, some with foot pedals, some with just 2 foot switch's. Some older looking, and a newer one that looks alot like the older one. Laughing confussed? I am
I always like your post Big D, you seam like a classy guy. Cool But this is coming from me, so that is only so much of a compliment. Mad

This is the one I have. More old school, like me or maybe I'm just plain old.

But you may like the Rotovibe better. That's this one.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guitar/search/detail/base_pid/151210/

It's the one Zak uses for those wild harmonics squeals he gets. It works well on both heavy stuff and cleaner tones. It doesn't do quite as much as the Uni (almost though) but you can control it on the fly. Really cool and well built. I'd say try'em out and see which one you like best.

Have fun Stu.
