I would like some opinion on what plugins are the best that suites vst, meaning, I have all the wave plugins but I only use the q10, which I think it is not bad, LinMB which squashes the creap out of things, L2 which is great for rms peak, but if anyone has any other thoughts on other plugins that work better I am open to suggestions.
Thank you very much. |

only a cracked plugins user would use sweeping generalizations when referring to -arguably- the best plugins available.
If you cant be arsed to learn to use what you've got, then no plugin is ever going to be good enough for you becuase no plugin is going to do what you want it to do, which is think for you.
There is no best. Listen closely and you'll hear the ones who know what they are talking about infer that every day. |

Some of my favorites:
UAD-1 (full package) -- Not native, but runs as VST so I think that qualifies. Best of the vintage emulation gear, I think. The comps are especially good.
WaveArts stuff -- Very CPU-efficient
PSP Audioware stuff -- Sounds great |

BTW I purchased my packs. There is no need to prove anything to you but what I will say is that being a ME as yourself, "trying new things to make it sweet" makes every bit of difference and you should know that! As for the other guys/gals, thank you very much. |

I also have the avalon vt-747sp, avalon vt-737sp as well I just bought the Quantum II and loving it, also the GT66 with brick. I'm hoping I can achieve what I am looking for. Any suggestions or any tips for you people who like to comment on people who are trying? (as I say this sarcastically). The ones that always say nasty things, don't have the patience, get some. I don't mean to be nasty but help instead of putting a person down. That's why this thread is here.
Thanks again. |

T-Racks?!?
Anyway, I'll third the UAD. I don't use plugs much, but I love those EQ's... And the compression is as schveet as I've heard in plugins. |

i am also utterly shocked about T-Racks, what!? yes they do something, but refering to them as being on the top-end of plugs, hugh, shock again!
USE YOUR EARS!
and yet another vote for UAD-1, very nice indeed when it comes to software plugs. also i do like some of the waves. |

I was pondering this very element. Maybe I did jump the gun a bit. But you know what, there is only 1 bundle Waves offers that includes the L2, Q10, AND the LinMB. Native it is nearly 3k. So you are going to sit there are tell us you spent 3k on a plugin bundle and you only use the Q10.?
Either you're a liar or a rich kid who doenst appreciate what you have. Neither is deserving of any help. |
