Hi, im putting together a small project studio for production and postproduction sound for picture

the location recording set to buy at this moment is a tascam HD-P2 + sennheiser 416 + t_ bone EM9900 (cheap chinese) http://www.thomann.de/thoiw11_the_tbone_em9900_prodinfo.html + sennheiser suspension and windscreen

I was thinking about a lav mic with a wireless system, I´d like to know ideas about this, the wireless reciever has to be small portable and battery powered. Could you please give some suggestions?

Is there any time code wireless sytem, battery powered, to plug a emmiter to the master camera and a reciever to the tascam HD-P2.

I already have most of the studio, I work with nuendo and some times PT LE on a pc with an m-audio delta 66. My main converter is a RME ADI-2 AD/DA and my mic pre is a 2ch DAV electronics BG1, I also have a dual DI from radial engineering with jensen transfomers and a modded sm-pro audio passive volume control/monitor switching

I have a couple of yamahas msp5 as nearfields, but I´d like to add a couple of midfields something with 8" woofer or more. BM15As? Adams?

I have a cheap chinese big diafragm condenser for voice overs and some foley, but i was looking for some better one, any ideas on this?

thanks for helping

Why, you will most likely be behind or next to the camera anyway!!!
The smart slate will feed both of you via cable. To answer your question,
there is no such animal.

Wireless body packs: Do a search for Lectrosonics, be prepared to spend between $1500.00 to $3000.00 per pack, then theres the receiver.
Be carefull what you buy, research the frequency requirements for any
particular city, or you will be fighting crosstalk.

Use the 416 for VO and foley!!!!

There is a wireless time code reader generator you can even rent it here: http://www.filmsat59.com/index.php?path=%2Fhire%2Fdigi+beta%2Fsachtler+tripods&page=229&heading=660

Plus the last time I did some video work with "wild" cameras the production company had wireless TC for all the cameras so it is a viable technology just not in use in a normal situation. There is also fiber optic cables that can run to and from all the cameras in a video shoot that carry the picture info in one direction and the time code in the other.

TC can be wireless just as digital audio can be wireless, digital audio snakes can be wireless. I bet that there are more solutions like this one.

Thanks, I knew already it was possible (I curretly work as eletronics technician), SMPTE it´s just audio, video, or midi right?, so then it´s "radiotransmitable". But I wanted to know about a reliable system. Thanks again for the info.. any other suggestions? any experience with any kind of latency? any problems with UHF mics?

I would also thank some advise about a wireless lavalier mic and a its battery powered receiver. Sennheiser? models?

As you see, I want to set a 1man-2ch-wireless-sytem

I wouldn't buy that Tascam. It doesn't have TC, just a port for TC input. You need a recording device with a TC card, something like the Fostex FR-2, which is just a little more expensive than the Tascam. That way you can have files stamped with TC, run a double system seperate from the cameras and remain in sync. Jam from slate. Nobody makes radio mics with TC, no need for it. Senn 416 is still widely use for boom mics and VO.
