Anybody know if the soundcraft spirit digital 328 & rme fireface 800 are compatable? I would think they would work fine together since the mixer has adat. I am looking for more in and outs and be able to mix OTB. |

The biggest problem you might have would be the actual latency through the units. For instances, you are using a stereo pair of microphones. One is connected to input number eight on one unit and the other microphones is connected to input number one on the second unit. You might not have a stereo track that is phase locked, just by virtue of the devices in terminal architecture. So that is the one thing that I would definitely be cognizant of. Involve close miking and direct inputs, you will probably experience less trouble but again I would not split stereo feeds between the two units.
Keep on keeping on!
