Ok, first video.
here are some eq's, compressors, and Saracon (Weiss) SRC ported to mac osx.
I have to say the spl passeq sounds great. WOW
The Great River mastering eq was nice too. nice color eq, basically the same eq as their other one but with better STEPPED pots.
Elysia compressor was nice sounding for what little I heard on headphones. A little flashy looking though.

video and audio compression is pretty heavy. |

I think they are still trying to figure out the price of the unit. That is the only unit right now and it's a prototype. But I can say that i'll be expensive. They're going a little overboard with the details. The chassis is built very well and looks great, too bad no one will see it stuck in a rack. you also get a personalized nameplate mounted on the back of the unit. again nice, but no one is going to see it and it just adds to the cost of the unit.
A huge chunk of the price is going to go to looks rather than function. If they would just strip it down to a nice working unit, without all the lights and fancy junk that no one will see, it would save a lot of money. It's a pretty powerful compressor and has lots of options to color sound. right now the main complaint is the pimped out look of the unit and the cost associated with that look. |

It may not be a final price, but they were saying to expect it to come in at about $10,000.

wonderful price region .
They do it right with the lightinvasion and this design for there
first hardware part, but 10000 for this would be a real point
for not buying.
wait and see |
