Strange to not see..

Splicing Block
Leader and splicing tape
Razor blades
Grease pencils/
White artist tape
Alcohol
Degausser
Fuses
Ground lifts
Notebook - (for writing down recall info)
Spare tweaker
Multimeter

Wait! its 2007! man....nevermind..

I would say extra guitar strings and fuses still,
maybe a can of Caig Deoxit.

ah those were the days. Cool

All I can think to add is
reference CDs
throat spray for singers
bottled water
pizzas
iPod and boom box for mix testing
"energy" drinks
van to pick up drummer & to get to the 24hr diner
air freshener
lava lamp

Instead of of auralex foam, I did my acoustic treatment by covering my walls in duct tape and air fresheners. Great frequencies absorbtion, and it just smells fantastic.

How many points do I get.

-band that doesn't suck
-drummer that can tune his drums
-a bass player that wasn't previously a guitar player who was confused by six strings
-a singer that doesn't give you the inside scoop on the meaning and depth of his lyrical stylings

If you were also the producer of the song, that info would help, but if you are only the engineer, I guess Dylan, Jr. will have to hush.

It's especially not needed when it is a death metal singer trying to explain the level of angst he wants to convey with the third cookie monster grunt in the chorus. Then after the take he asks if you "felt" it.

Is there anything to use on a vocal mic that was just used by a singer with assmouth?
