(spam ring) I need to convert a video.

I have a WMV video and I need it in any of the following formats: MP3, MPEG, AVI, MPA, MOV, QT, SWF, to upload to a website. How can I convert to any of these?

dianejsmith, you can deliver WMV uploaded to a web site because it is already designed for up/downloads, it's already highly compressed and ready for streaming. It already plays conveniently under Windows media player with no optional extra codecs needed.

You can't deliver in MP3 because that's audio only.

Look into the Main Concepts MPEG encoder. Pinnacle also offers "T-Rex" which is another converter from and to other formats.

It looks like we are all digesting our Thanksgiving dinners?

I sure do understand your problem and I would suggest you to visit Movavi VideoSuite ? It supports to convert WMV to AVI, MPEG, MP4, DivX, VOB or any other popular video format. Hope this will work out for you.

I'm thinking of buying stock in Pinnacle - what do you guys think? This is a company that's really going somewhere.... Rolling Eyes

Well, I just found their customer support email address and sent them an earful (with copies of the spam posts in this thread), and I'm thinking of copying the FCC on this as well.

Since Pinnacle is owned by Avid maybe we should all email higher authorities at Avid, or maybe even better, Apple's Pro Apps division.
