Hello Fellow east coast studio owners’s. I have an amazing band I am getting involved with. My problem is they are in New Jersey and I am in California. Since it is cheaper for one to travel than five I need a studio in the Greater New Jersey/New York area. I have zero doubt I will be getting them a deal after I cut some compelling tracks as I have done this before; with the last band signing with Capitol. This band - Drums, Bass, two guitars and leads vocal - is very tight and can cut Live. Two days would be best, but even one could get me the magic I need on 2 or 3 songs. SO… with all that in mind, if any of you have a room that can handle this and have a couple of down days at the end of this year or beginning of next and wouldn’t mind being a part of something then please PM or email me. They have management a lawyer and interest. Just need a great demo - which would then be album tracks/singles - of the new songs.
I guess I should add that When we secure a deal we will comeback to the same room we cut the first tracks in (demo.... to then be album tracks) and complete the album. The manager of this band does not like to fix things that aren't broken (i.e. not go somewhere else), nor do I.?
Cheers,
Eric Greedy

Hi Eric, good to see you here, and, awesome news about your latest project. Keep us informed please!
For those of you reading this, Eric is the real thing here. This sounds like a really goooood opportunity.
Eric, Angelo Quaglia is in that area and may be able to help somehow. He is an awesome guy, old moderator from here. I have no idea what his number is but maybe you know his circle. |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the referral Chris! Long time no see...
Unfortunately, I'm not in the NY/NJ area anymore. I'm now back in my home state of Western Massachusetts. That's roughly a 3.5 hour drive from NYC. But I do work out of a fantastic studio here. Eric, if the distance from NYC isn't too much and you're still interested give us a call and we'll see what we can hook up.
Cheers, |
