Hey, new to recroding.org. I've seen a lot of forums and this one seems to have lots of diversity while still remianing on the topic of pro-audio., which I'm in favor of. The philosophy around each topic is pretty cool.
I've recenctly read that angled cielings are good in a studio, great news because that's the kind of room I just happen to have. Here's the question. Is it better to do your recording/monitoring where the ceiling is at it's highest or lowest. I've been doing it at its lowest. And my recordings are gradually getting better so I am looking to get even better by rearanging the equipment. What's best? I could experiment but I figured I wouild get the answers from the best before I do anything foolish. Thanks in advance. |

The standard (better) orientation is to have the room be low in the front and higher in the rear. So it sounds like you're in good shape.
