RECORDING KSM 44 best mic for the money? - ive used kdm 44's before. they sound beautiful. good on vox, piano, room mic, over heads, etc. very versatile and sounds immaculate.

Tax money coming! Right now I have a AT 3035 and a focusrite trakmaster. I have read that the KSM 44 is a great mic for the money. Any thoughts.

I bought a couple of KSM27.. the cheaper ones and they sound good... for the money. Never used the 44

I like em, but I would say my K2 beats the crap out of it. Even though its slightly less versatile (but the 44 don't have the variable pattern!)
