aw man, that is sad. he was my fave too. my favorite was childhood's end, and of course the whole 2001 series. he will be missed, but he of course left a rich legacy with all of his works |

Have you heard his last address? He recorded it in December I think. It's worth finding on Youtube. He will be missed. |

I was not a huge fan of his work, though I liked it and read a good bit of it. But he really seemed to be one of the "good guys" in literature. Kind, helpful, smart. The net is buzzing with people he helped out. Sad to see him go. |
