Hey any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to figure this out problem soon for a project I'm doing tomorrow. I am running a Behringer ADA8000 through ADAT light pipe into M-Audio Firewire 1814 running on Protools on a mac.
The problem is I'm getting clicks in the audio signals. The audio itself is no clicking, i leave plenty of head room, the clipping lights aren't coming on on the ADA8000 preamp or protools input, so clipping isn't the problem.
I've had this problem once before and I think i fixed it by setting the hardware settings in the control panel to Internal - Digital inputs unmuted. Since then, the only thing i've changed is going from 44.1khz to 48khz. However I've been recording on 48 without any problems until today.
Anybody have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this??? any help would be greatly appreciated |

Sounds like a clock syncing problem. Try using a BNC cable for connecting the wordclock out from the 1814 to the wordclock in on the ADA800, and set the slide switch on the rear of the ADA8000 to "WC in" |
