Yeah, good idea... pay a couple grand for a power cord a few feet long. Then plug that power cord into... the wall socket? HAHAHAHAHAHA
I'm in the wrong business! |

Trying to think of a good analogy here... how 'bout this: I could sell specially-formulated silver alloy water faucets that water flows through so smoothly that they impart absolutely no taste to the water. Anybody wanna buy one to hook up to your sewer line? |

Who do these guys take us for?

And that same question can be asked of their International distribution points...

More money then brains, that must be the clientele they have existed on, supposedly 25 years and growing? |

Good analogy.
Great, really...
I mean I can see the benefit of me getting a SM57 and hooking it up to our cheap system. Would make a noticable diff at least.
But, $80 aint anywhere near $1700. |

LOL- It’s crazy.....
I was is in Tokyo recently and was wandering about and went into a high end audio store. 5 floors of audiophile stuff.
They had everything from speakers to connectors. Power cables for amps cost 3k. The sales guy was trying to convince me he could hear the difference.
I love audio, but I think that’s insane. |

a little bit of science is fine
but how you get that to stretch to $1700 completely baffles me
a fool and their money ...
" Power cables for amps cost 3k. "
$3k is a lot of copper, even at todays prices |

Quick Q about power...
Should ALL your devices in the system should be grounded to the same point regardless of what they're plugged into (granted that all the power for any 1 building including a small church should come from one wire in the end)?
So if I have a mixer in one branch from the main box, and an amp in another branch, it's fine.
(I don't think there's a ground problem until I crank the pres, but I haven't pushed the system to stupidity and stuck my ear against the speakers. |
