It's good, but everything seems really LOUD. A few things get lost in the mix as a result though, 2nd verse, some guitar lead panned right.....
I also sensed a lot going on in the upper highs (sorry, I'm not good with identifying frequency ranges).
Very good for your first time, congrats. |

Cool track - I dig it and would totally buy the album.
Here's my minor criticisms and thoughts -
The drummer is a good drummer - keep him whatever you do!
However, the tonality of the drums changes from time to time, particularly the snare. Were there gates on the drums? This happens a lot with gates. (This is a VERY minor thing - barely noticable.)
The bass is a little bit much in some places. I'd like more tunefulness and a little less tubbiness.
Other than that - great job! |

I like this track but I think the american accent takes the "ska" sound out of it. Maybe it's just me though as I think of British bands when I hear ska mentioned.
The guitar is pretty faint also as mentioned before. I would love to hear a bit of an organ in there somewhere too.
Hope this helps;) |

Great mix, though as someone else said, the bass is very forward in the mix. The kick drum gets lost behind that fat wall of bass. You could try EQing the bass to make room for the kick, by cutting back some of the low frequencies in your bass track. |
