hey all!
im this question has come up but i can't seem to find it in the search.....
I was wondering how everyone felt about getting the best quality out of pro tools and converters. i have heard(and seen) protools with apogee's big ben clock. what does everyone think? i havebeen thinking of upgrading my rig and would like any and every opinion. should i go with that, or strictly HD, or i know apogee has an x-hd card for pro tool and i can use the rosetta or AD/DA 16x's. if i did decide to go with just Apogee converters and their expansion card how would buy the protools software. they don't seem to sell it on its own?
well i'm interested in hearing what you all think.

Look again carefully at the site of Apogee. There are cards that fit into the big PT HD boxes that will allow you to hook up Apogee converters. |
