Do anyone try to use the Polystream for Vocal Room Treatment?

What i wish to do is...divided to different shape and glue it on the Ceiling..means the shape will be Big and Small + High and Short..

what do you think?

Polystyrene is the word I think you're looking for. Unless you want a chemical used to clean Oyster beds (google it).

RAy,

Read the stickies if you want to participate here - especially the one that says to read it before posting.

However - not wanting to hold you up longer than necessary - use a different name - or provide a source - I cannot find any reference to Polystream that could possibly be what you're assking about.

I thought about it for ages too, what's "Big and Small + High and Short" and has the grammar skills of an online translator. A pyramid, glued to the roof.
Polystyrene pyramids glued to the roof.
It would look kinda cool.

Sure,

just what you need - a highly flammable product (polystyrene is labled a B3 product - meaning it is easily ignited and highly flammable).

Now all we need is either a little bit of heat - or a few sparks from something that uses electricity.

BTW - that is one of the reeasons that this material is NOT able to be installed exposed in the US........ that is a huge building and fire code violation.

ray,

Forgetting the flammability issue - they won'k work anyway -

And read the stickie - otherwise I will not respond to you any more - tell us where you're from, etc....... it can make a world of difference in what the correct answer is based on available materials - cost, etc.

It isn't a suggestion - it is a requirement if you want to participate in this forum.

We have no problem helping anyone out - but you have to cooperate as well.

Sounds like "We have some problems helping anyone out".
I'm not saying you don't help people. You obviously do.
Just saying he might be from someplace they shoot people for owning tech.
Let alone recording and distributing anti-social music.

That or he's a troll.

Good times.

Greener,

I have to work much too hard digging out information as it is - and I am not paid for any of this - I make a few simple rules for people to follow (to make some of this easier) - if they don't want to bother to comply - then they aren't welcome -

It's just that simple - it's their choice not mine.

I happen to smoke - but if I go to someone's house and they inform me that their house is smoke free - I respect their wishes - after all - it's their house.

Well this is my house. Open to the public - but smoke free ( figuratively speaking).

I don't know about you (or anyone else) but whenever I go to a new forum - if I see a sticky called "read me before posting" - I always read it - and afterwards I follow what ever was inside it - I figure seeing as someone took the time to actually think it out and make a sticky of it - it must mean something to them.

Think about it, who knows - perhaps one day you might have a question - wouldn't it be nice to just have it answered?

Sincerely,

Rod

I really respect the time you put in to help others, I really do. And I did read your sticky. It's helpful, it shows me what to think about properly and ask myself before I ask others.
But, when you make an analogy about not smoking in someones house, even though you are a smoker, but you don't because it's their house... Well in this case really the correct analogy would be you being a non-smoker going into a smokers house and having to literally smoke in order to be there.
Say ray lives in North Korea. I don't know where he lives, I've asked myself publicly and privately and get no answer just a polite grammatically retarded dodge to my question. But say he does live in some shithole place where his life is meaningless to the powers that be... Would you tell people?
Imagine he builds a studio in a place like North Korea and records a local band with the passion and political sway of Rage Against the Machine and the music spreads like a virus and motivates people to rise against tyranny and unite together to build a better freer world... What a fucking cool thing to be apart of.
Call me a romantic idealist and a sucker for trolls...

Tim,

respectfully - the method of construction and the availability of materials drives more answers than you might believe.

Here in the US we construct house predominately with wood - it tradition and readily available.

The vast majority of Europe builds with brick and block.

In the Phiilapeans it would probably do me no good to tell someone to use a mitre saw to make his cuts - because any of the carpenters working there are still using only hand tools to build houses. You don't see carpenters with power tools until you get into the large projects (picture skyscrapers).

He doesn't have to say North Korea - just Korea would do (there isn't that much difference between the 2 from this perspective) and even if he did - we deal all the time with people posting from China - and no one attacks them because of where they were born.

Because my answers have to be predicated by these things is the reason I made the rule - otherwise I get responses from - people to the effect of "we can't get that here - what else can we use?"

How many guesses should I make before I'll finally hit on something they can obtain in their reigon?

Think about it.

Understand - I get tired just like eveyone else - and this sort of thing is very draining to me when I could be answeringf someone else productively because I understand what happens in their location.

Sincerely,

Rod
