Hey!
I do simple voice-over/music bed productions and would like to find a 'Ducker' plugin. To clarify, something that will 'duck' the music under the voice and then bring it back up to original level.
Anything out there like that?

does the Dig Gate have a depth level ?
use it in a side chain mode from the vocal track and it might do what you want
same goes for the compressor
obviously with the compressor it will be more than just a simply volume level dip and will be a crunch |

The standard protools freebie software will definitely do the job.
The problem is you can't just plug it in and set it. Like Kev said you will have to learn to use the side chain. |
