Hi,
I'm now using Yamaha EMX 5000.it's a Powered Mixer with Dual Effects...I like it very much...
Wish to get an other Dual Effects Mixer which is WITHOUT built-in amp (not powered mixer),but i have no idea.
i might need your recommendation here.Thanks!!! |

What's your budget for this mixer?
What do you want to do with this un-powered mixer? What key features do you require?
How many fingers am I holding up?

If you have L-R, mono, etc. outputs on the top (or rear) of the board you can bypass the amp. Then it just becomes a feature you can use if you ever need it.
Unless you _need_ a second mixer for some purpose. |

It sounds like Beringer had you in mind? Look into his mixers.
Getting rid of my Neve because it doesn't have built in the effects.

Well, why not tell us you wanted a lightweight mixer to begin with...

Have a look here, some may be powered, but probably not.
Also I don't know how much of a weight reduction you'd get by not having an amplifier in it. Is it even worth the, say, $1k you'd have to shell out? |
