I wrote and recorded this as an experiment. Do I cut it as a fake Barry White? lol ...or is it a little too cheesey? I think the guitar is a kind of bright as well but I wanted some attack on it.

Big, Bad, Bazza.
That's cool. No way in hell is your voice anything like the sonic chocolate that is Barry white. But your production is slick and the tune is cool.
You could improve it by bringing the vocals forward a bit, some harmony (more) on the chorus would make it silkier too. |

You're produced very nice song.
So are you trying to go for that Barry White vocal sound? So here are some suggestions as to what I've heard. You are working your microphone closely with headphones on and really love that proximity effect. It's slightly too accentuated and muddy. There's no presence on & no sparkle on your vocal and certainly not enough compression.
If you really want to get that superlow vocal sound, my suggestion would be, if you are recording at 44.1kHz, try your vocal overdub by recording at 48kHz. This will raise the pitch & speed of everything while you're listening to your track. You then record your vocal adding copious amounts of compression & mid-& high-frequency boost., Now you playback at 44.1kHz and you are Barry White.
Conversely, if you want to sound like Michael Jackson, you would record your vocal overdub at 32.5kHz sampling while playing back after-the-fact at 44.1kHz sampling. This will raise your voice and you will become Michael Jackson.
These are all tricks I've used over the years in both analog & digital
