Guys, using Cubase 4 here and am looking for some fresh delay ideas.
I'm mainly looking to use it to create space and depth.
I've been using waves supertap, it is awesome, but have been toying with maybe fabfilters timeless, psp 84, or ohmboyz.
What you all think?
Also how are the builtin delays in Cubase?
I've toyed but not enough to really know the true potential.
Thanks |

I use the waves delay and find that there is as much control as you could want right there.
I think the only thing those other options (none of which I own) might give you is some interesting presets. |

Delay hasn't been a problem since I turned 50. When I was younger it helped to think about baseball. |

The built-in delays that come with Cubase can do the job although they don't have as many control options as one might need. If you just need to have a simply sync'd delay they work well for that.
I use the PSP 42 and I like that plenty...I guess that makes the 84 at least 2 times better. |
