Just realized I am in possesion of one of these. It's a buddy of mine's but I've been inadvertantly borrowing it for about three years now but never tried it. Is this a good mic for anything in particular? Just wondering. Also, there are a few Audio Technica "Pro 25"s. Are those the same as an ATM25? Thanks.

I have absolutely no idea what you are referring to? If you're talking microphones? This is obviously not something we have all been talking about.
How about a little more info?
I still haven't checked out that Chinese restaurant. Maybe you should invite me?

Thanks Kapt. I'll have to try it on some stuff and see how it goes. I was hoping someone would pop up and say "Holy S**t!!, Those are like a small fortune and the best mic ever!!!". Oh well. It is a ribbon and I havent ever used one so it'll be fun to check out. Thanks again. Oh yeah Remy, havent forgot about you. I just need time and money and I'm there. Unfortunately that hasnt really happened in about 13 years. I would certainly let you know if I was going to be near the northeast states, that's for sure.

I'm sitting here and going like duh? Yeah, I wasn't certain what you were referring to? That's the Johnny Carson microphone! A lovely microphone. I have a model 300, slightly different. Both nice fat warm ribbons. Sounds like a ribbon. Tastes like chicken.

I used to have one of those. Dont remember it all that well.
There is a HUGE difference between the ATM25 and the "Pro"25. The ATM25 is a real mic and the pro25 is a real pretender. |

So that's what the "pr" in "pro" stands for. Lol! Thanks Dave. |
