hmmmmm....
I went down to 24 because that's all the D-Command will hold.
If the deal works out with a Studer D-950 I'm looking at, there will be somewhere around 64 total... which isn't all that big. |

Your joking, aren't you? An input number by itself is meaningless. You could mean an ITB with all internal processing, A DM1000 which is 19"wide and 48 inputs, a DM2000 which is 39" and has 96 inputs...
Generalities are meaningless if you want advice your room.

Apologies are not necessary. Accurate information is. What size console? Why are we playing 20 questions with your project?

Andre',
Dang... you didn't get the memo.... "Vague and aloof" is the new chic...
Here's the copy I got....

It has come to our attention that "Vague and Aloof" is the new chic among the vast majority of internet forums. We are unsure of the reasoning for this drastic departure from information exchange dialogue, but it definitely exists.
Never mind that it usually results in the person asking the question to draw incorrect or misconceived answers from responses. As these questioner's ultimately want to have a blamable scapegoat for their own lack of accuracy, comprehension or general knowledge of the subject at hand.
Since you are offering your experience and intellect as an aid to those seeking questions, please understand the following policy changes have become a necessity;
1. There ARE stoopid questions... you ARE required to answer them.
2. When someone you advised fails to understand your information, it's your fault.
3. If someone, who obviously is an ignorant dolt, supplies totally irresponsible replies of information, you are also at blame if said questioner decides to follow the ignorant twit's advice. Even if said advice is resultant in a total disaster, and against the comments of the majority of the respondents.
Keep up the good work, and always remember....
It's ALL your fault!
Have a nice day!
