I love all the responses. Especially camsr.
I now have a plan of attack that I shall implement which involves a combination of Max and Rogers. I'l get r30 in the floor joists overhead. I should have the paper face out into the room, right?
All of my corners will be treated with bricks.
I'll leave the surfaces reflective.
I should have PLENTY of time, since the drummer postponed at least a week due to work issues.  |

Interesting. Why wouldn't I want the paper down into the tracking room? Just playing devil's advocate here, but wouldn't the paper down be more reflective coinciding with your argument not to have a dead room?

Reflective floor, reflective walls, absorbent ceiling make for a good tracking room. Also, I think that the paper left exposed is a fire hazard.
Somebody that knows more of what they are talking about can explain why. |
