I have a steel door, exterior door with glass and an interior door with glass prehung. Which one would your recommend to use for a vocal booth? |

Interior doors are generally hollow core
Exterior doors are generally solid core.
So if that's the case in your case then the exterior door wins.
So the question becomes, exterior door with glass or Steel door with no glass.
Does the booth have any other window?
Is the booth dbl wall construction?
Is the steel door a fire rated door with a steel frame or just a typical metal front door?
I would probably vote for the solid core with window if the rest of the construction is single wall construction and no other window.
A steel fire rated door can provide a bit more isolation but would be lost if the rest of the construction is less efficient.

I would be interested in hearing more about the interior door with glass prehung. This is my most likely best option. The metal door isn't one for me if I have some solid doors, if that is what you have. You can develop with parts a better seal around the edges of the door. And a threshold with bottom door sweep isn't that difficult to locate. |

I went with solid core door interior with no window. Craigslist has tons of different doors to choose from. Thanks a lot for the info. |
