members web site possibilities

Dear members,We need ways to generate some money to help pay for the server.Maybe we could provided a "web page" for the members that don't have one. You could either use your our domain name or our www.recording.org/yourname
What would be a reasonable yearly fee that we could charge to help us operate?Most people only need a front page, one maybe two or so. We have the room....... We could do this for a very reasonable rate if they weren't all loaded up with images and flash stuff that sucked cpu. mp3 audio should be linked to the mp3 servers so that's an easy work around. RO is on an OC48 pipe that seriously blow away most hosting companies. I'm told that it's about 35 T1 line speed.Please join in here and contribute to this thread.

Once I get planted...(on phase 2 of a 3 tier plan) I will be glad to do something...but give me a few weeks...I want to do a banner as well...you can design it Chris..

Hi Bill, we can design a banner for you for $25. The banner rotation is free for all members until Dec 31, maybe longer, who knows?Only problem is...we're full now. No room left except for a few spots I left open Sad

The web page thing is cool. I wish we could get some input from our members that don't have one and are thinking about it. It's a way of supporting us and definitely a cool name for your business. i.e. www.recording.org/yourname

Big Tree, I'm suprised that you don't charge for banner rotation. That's hella cool. It really makes me feel like this site is free of corperate persuasion. Post an address & I'd be happy to send a donation.
