Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has used the Neumann PMV-70 mic pre or the W495 EQ? If so how do you think they stack up to the Neve, API or Trident units? Or are they in that league at all?
Best Wishes, jules |

I don't know the pre but I own a W495 STB eq (the stereo version).
it's virtually soldered to my 2-bus for final tweaks.
this equalizer is extremely quiet and unobstrusive - I'd say "honest": you get what you dial in.
Much closer to a sontec than API or pultec.
I hope you get the picture...
my 2 cents.
