I have a pair of dorrough loudness meters and I think I'm getting the hang of using them, and comparing that to what my ears hear.

How do you like your digibeta?, Does it have pre-read? I flipped over the pre-read concept when JVC offered me to demo a D-85 (D-9) with pre-read. It was like I had 30 DVE's, and CG's, just layer, layer, heaven. No render time...wham!

Thanks Rick,
Good info there at digido.
Video, don't go there , just use the deck for digitising and layback.
Would you know where I can find what rates some local post production houses charge for their services? I want to see if I'm in the ballpark with my rates and services. Everyone changes ownership/names of their facilities so quick, I don't know where to start looking.
I guess the phone book could be a good start?Duh?
Thanks again. |
