New kit in the house

I took my son to Sam Ash for his first real kit. A birthday present. He blew apart the toy one he got for Christmas (takes after his guitar playin daddy) Surprised

On the way over, he was chuckling in the back seat,
"hey dad, you know what? When we're rock stars, all the girls are going to give us their autographs".
I couldn't reply 'cause I was laughing so hard.

He just turned five years old. LOL. Very Happy

He walked into the drum room, played on everything there and said he wanted the silver/grey set. I know very little about drums. The drum guy there said he has good taste. Cool. Picked up the kit the next day, it even went on sale. Great vibes all around. The kit including hardware was $625.00.
Tama Rockstar 5 piece, misty chrome,Tama Roadpro hardware, Cobra King jr pedal.
Set it up, sounds real nice, I need to learn how to tune them, and get some quality cymbals.
The home studio grows... Very Happy

What a kewel Dad!.. I have had a couple Tama Rock Star sets and I like them very much. I am sure your son will enjoy years of playing on these. Nice move! Kurt
