Howdy
I'm looking for a few good MIDI programmers for a project that will lead even the most sane person to the brink of insanity (just look at me). This project requires a gaggle of skills some of which are:
- a comprehensive, El Tweako Grande MIDI sequencing skills
- an authoritative command of synthesis
- a firm grasp on contemporary music theory concepts
- the ability to put up with me
Right now, the project is in the "planning" stage for work that will most likely commence after the new year.
And just what is that project? Why, its the fast-paced, glamorous world of programming styles for portable keyboards!
Yes, its music Jim, but not as we know it. However, it seems there might be quite a bit of it to do and it does pay the bills so one can afford the "gourmet" Mac 'n' Cheese. For this particular round of styles, we're looking for the following musical specialists:
- Someone up on modern Country (and Western!)
- Someone "hip" to modern R&B/Rap
If you're interested (or curious) please send me an email telling me what you've done and include an example (or link of) your work. The example should consist of some sort of audio file (mp3) and the MIDI data so I can peruse it for programming tidyness (neatness counts!).
Thanks |
